The Knapp consultation provides an opportunity for local residents, businesses and other interested parties to learn about proposals for a luxury hotel and spa development and provide feedback before a planning application is submitted.

Why are we consulting?
Consulting before an application is submitted allows the project team to share information about the proposals at a stage when they are still being developed, and to hear directly from people with an interest in the site and its surroundings.
Local knowledge often raises considerations that would not otherwise come to light. Understanding those views early means they can be taken into account as the proposals are worked through.
This website is an information and consultation resource provided by the project team. It is not the official planning application portal.
